The First of Sims 3 Information Released

I am not one for playing games on the computer or game systems normally, but I am, without a doubt, addicted to the Sims.

As basic as it was, the original Sims 1 captured my interest. Sims 2 is without a doubt the most intricately detailed game I could have imagined.

While I played only the Original Sims, I did try out all the expansion packs (but only a few of the Stuff Packs) for the Sims 2 and I definitely have my favorites. There are pros and cons for all the expansion packs though, but the pros usually outweigh the cons for me.

My favorite Sims 2 Expansion Packs are without a doubt the Sims 2 Seasons and the newest one Sims 2 FreeTime. Sims 2 Nightlife brought nice changes too - especially finally having a drivable car.

Now, with the first of the Sims 3 information being released today, I am definitely excited and will go crazy waiting another 21 months for the game to be released (it's not supposed to be released until December 2009 -- that's without any further delays).

What I like best about the Sims 3 is that now we are no longer going to be playing one household at a time, and are free to move about the neighborhood (without loading up yet another screen that takes forever sometimes) and time moves on everywhere. This is definitely a great change!

Wyoming Caucus and Mississippi Primary Results

With the Wyoming's caucus and Mississippi's primary wins under Obama's belt earlier this week, it is definitely time to focus his attention onto Pennsylvania (which is a mere five weeks away). It seems as if it is not an "easy Clinton win" as had been thought all along. It could end up being decently close in the end.

What a Day in Politics

Last night was, of course, the primaries in Ohio, Rhode Island, Texas, and Vermont. Ohio and Texas were the really important states tonight and the latest polls leading up to today had shown Clinton and Obama virtually tied.

The results from last night:
Vermont: McCain and Obama win.
Ohio: McCain and Clinton(even though it was really close for the democrats).
Rhode Island: McCain and Clinton.
Texas: McCain and Clinton(even though it was virtually tied for the democrats).

On the republican side, John McCain officially won the GOP nomination last night and he is supposed to be endorsed by George Bush this afternoon. Also, Huckabee conceded last night in his speech.

And so the democratic race goes on...

The question now is whether the democrats should vote again in Florida and Michigan since their votes did not count in their original primaries.
