Sims 2 Apartment Life

I've had the newly released Sims 2 Apartment Life for about two days now, and I have to say that even though I haven't had a lot of time to play, I like the concepts of apartments a lot. Most, if not all, of the Sims 2 players have been waiting for this forever, but finally it's here.

I am definitely a fan of the Sims as it is, but the new concept is a really nice change.

I guess now its time to wait for the release of the Sims 3 February 20, 2009! From the sound of it, the Sims 3 is supposed to be even better and I love its new concepts of being allowed to roam freely through the town and the fact that the other Sims will now age and continue to "live" their lives even when you are not actively playing them.

Sims 3 Release Date Announced

The Sims 3 will be in stores on February 20th, 2009! I can't believe the release date is now MONTHS earlier than it was originally (December '09), especially since most of the games have always been delayed past their original release dates.

The First of Sims 3 Information Released

I am not one for playing games on the computer or game systems normally, but I am, without a doubt, addicted to the Sims.

As basic as it was, the original Sims 1 captured my interest. Sims 2 is without a doubt the most intricately detailed game I could have imagined.

While I played only the Original Sims, I did try out all the expansion packs (but only a few of the Stuff Packs) for the Sims 2 and I definitely have my favorites. There are pros and cons for all the expansion packs though, but the pros usually outweigh the cons for me.

My favorite Sims 2 Expansion Packs are without a doubt the Sims 2 Seasons and the newest one Sims 2 FreeTime. Sims 2 Nightlife brought nice changes too - especially finally having a drivable car.

Now, with the first of the Sims 3 information being released today, I am definitely excited and will go crazy waiting another 21 months for the game to be released (it's not supposed to be released until December 2009 -- that's without any further delays).

What I like best about the Sims 3 is that now we are no longer going to be playing one household at a time, and are free to move about the neighborhood (without loading up yet another screen that takes forever sometimes) and time moves on everywhere. This is definitely a great change!
